Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor director producer, and vocalist. A beautiful, smart and talented actress, she's a great inspiration to Asian actors aspiring to be big stars in Hollywood. An early string of success appearances in popular television series led to her becoming well-known for her part in the character on Ally McBeal, where she played Ling Woo. She translated her newfound fame into roles for the big screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. Then, she gave an a stunning performance in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime-lord O Ren Ishii. She also played leading characters in failed box office films such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent characters in animated films, such as Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's part on Cashmere Mafia, a small screen film, failed to produce positive results. The role she played in the critically acclaimed police drama series Southland has helped her regain recognition as an actress of note. Liu carefully selects roles so that she doesn't get stereotyped within an industry where competition is fierce. As much as she loves her culture, it hasn't limited her in her work as an artist.
