
Jennifer Grey, born March 26 1960 in Los Angeles, is an American actress. After her debut as an actor in the film Reckless in 1984 however, she managed to be noticed in the comedy film for teens Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). Her fame grew worldwide for starring as Frances Houseman in the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing (1987), which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1889), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989), Redbelt (2008) and Redbelt (2000) were some of her other film features.
